Apple introduced iPhones with a notched design starting with the iPhone X. Ever since, it has been there on all future iPhone models. That’s where Face ID was located, and until Touch ID was not there, Apple could not have removed it. According to a leak, however, the smartphone maker may introduce new iPhone models, starting next year, with a minor notch.
The anonymous leak going by the twitter handle @UniverseIce suggests that the iPhone 13 notch can be expected to be smaller compared to all previous iPhone models, and also shared a photo illustrating that point.
The picture shows a new smaller notch that does not get narrower, and would rather be shallower compared to the older models. So we can not exactly say how much difference it will make, but we are happy to take what comes.
The notch size of iPhones has never changed since the feature was added to the iPhone X, and this will therefore be a remarkable improvement over the iPhone 1
Apple’s iPhone 13 will not be launched until September-October next year, and that means we have a lot of time available to ponder this new design. After all, there’s only one leak at the moment.
The launch of the iPhone 12 is what is being closed for now, and all focus is on the upcoming iPhone 12. The announcement is expected to come through October 13 next week. Stay tuned and hope all the rumors we’ve heard about the new iPhone were accurate.
