Some Bell TV channels suffer from power outages, blaming power outages

According to Bell, some of the TV channels are experiencing their technical problems due to a power outage at one of the facilities.

Bell said this afternoon: “We are currently having technical problems with some of our channels as a result of a power outage at the Agincourt facility. We are working to restore the service as soon as possible. ”

The company also noted that CTV and CTV2 stations were also down, similarly blaming power outages.

“We experienced power outages at our broadcasting facility in Scarborough tonight that affected local CTV and CTV2 stations east of Winnipeg and our specialty channels. Websites and digital services were also affected. Power has been restored, and broadcasting is expected soon, “said Bell.

Many angry customers responded to their tweet, with concerns ranging from claims for compensation and also what redundancy measures have been implemented by the company.

Are you experiencing any interruptions right now with Bell? While a power outage is certainly impractical, at least Bell acknowledges the problem online and lets customers know about it in public tweets, and not hidden private instant messages like Rogers.
