Hi, I'm an Android app developer.
Recently, I plan to port one of my Android apps (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yocto. Wenote & hl = en) to iOS platform, due to of demand from users.
Should I use Swift or Objective-C? I do not have much over the language function / syntax. I have more concern about the ecosystem's wealth. For example, does the language have a good ecosystem, a large number of high quality libraries?
2. Currently, my Android app uses room (an ORM library from Google) with SQLite. We use Google Drive as personal cloud storage. All SQLite files are stored in the user's personal Google Drive account. From the iOS end-user perspective, program data stores Google Drive, looks strange to them? Basically, I plan to use iCloud. However, after some studies, I find it difficult to access data in iCloud, from other platforms. My goal is that the saved shooting data be available from the desktop, Android and iOS.
4. Is it possible to use ORM in IOS? Currently, my data is generated by Room (an ORM library from Google). So, I'm not sure how it is possible to use another iOS ORM, to be compatible with Google's Room ORM. If not possible, must I perform raw database access using SQLite?
