Our goal is to continuously improve the Spotify experience across platforms."

If You want to use the Slide Over feature, you need to add Spotify to the dock and access it while using other applications. Once you have done so, the Spotify user interface moves on the screen with the other app you are currently using. It's easy to use shared view, all you have to do is drag and drop the top of the Spotify display window to the top of the iPad screen. When you're done, your screen will be used by both Spotify and your other app.

Split View for iPad was first introduced in 2015. The feature lets users drag and drop things between apps, like Mac or PC. The screen can be shared in the ratio 50:50 or 70:30, you can decide which app gets more space.
