Apple debuted new Apple One subscriptions today, offering customers savings on bundled Apple services, which they say can save Canadians up to $ 32 a month.
Spotify hit the Apple One subscriptions earlier today, and gave the following statement Recode Media’s Peter Kafka:
Once again, Apple is using its dominant position and unfair practices to degrade competitors and deprive consumers by favoring their own services. We urge competition authorities to act quickly to curb Apple̵7;s anti-competitive behavior, which, if left unchecked, will cause irreparable damage to the developer community and threaten our collective freedoms to listen, learn to create and connect.
In an answer to ReutersApple said the Apple One bundle was for existing enterprise service users, and that “customers can discover and enjoy alternatives to every single one of Apple’s services.”
Apple One subscription packages start at $ 15.95 CAD per month in Canada and will be released later this fall.
