As we read the Cydia Store Revolution tab this week, we performed a completely new jailbreak tweak dubbed SqueakTime by the IOS Developer Andy Wiik . With it, you can replace the lock screen's native time indicator with official Apple Watch faces.
After installing SqueakTime, you will notice a new button Use on lock screen that appears next to each Apple Watch face preview in the native watch app:
When you press this button, it replaces your digital digital time indicator for iPhone with the Apple Watch preview you just watched. You can use some of them supported by the native watch app, including the so popular Mickey Mouse face.
These watch faces animate in real time so that they depict the right time; This is great for anyone who prefers analog time displayed over digital.
In particular, you do not need to have an Apple Watch paired with iPhone to use SqueakTime. This was a great consideration on the developer's side and ensures that anyone with a jailbroken handset can use tweak.
You can also find a preference route for SqueakTime in the Settings app after installation, but there's not much you can do here:
Here you will find a kill switch and a respring button to save the changes. when you turn on the switch. For the most part, all you need to use SqueakTime can be found in the native watch app.
The concept behind displaying Apple Watch faces on the iPhone lock screen is not new. A jailbreak tweak called LockWatch was released in December that attempted a similar performance, but SqueakTime is the first to use the native watch app and supports several native Apple Watch faces.
Unfortunately, SqueakTime does not support Apple Watch Face Complications, but it can be used to tell time in a hug. If you are interested in trying SqueakTime, you can download it from Cydia's Chariz Depot for $ 1.49. Tweak supports all jailbroken iOS 11 devices.
