Nintendo recently released some exciting news about Super Mario Maker 2, released on June 28, 2019. One of the biggest changes from the original game will be the inclusion of a campaign or Story Mode. There is still much more to learn about it, but here we know so far.
What is the plot in Super Mario Maker 2's story mode?
In story mode, Mario discovers that Princess Peach's castle is gone. Always the hero, he immediately commits the mission to rebuild it using a group of Toads. The construction is expensive, so he needs a lot of coins to afford this work. Lucky for our favorite plumber, coins are super easy to get past in the Mushroom Kingdom. Each time you complete a level, you will earn coins. Don't worry, campaign mode is not skimpy. You will play over 1
As the castle grows, players can better explore the areas around it and make new friends. These friends will unlock building elements for you to use and will even give you new jobs to complete. We are confident that it will be more to discover when the building is developing.
What happens in history mode
- Earn coins to rebuild Princess Peach's castle
- Meet characters that challenge you
- Unlock areas and building elements Play 100+ original levels
- Accept bulletin board by talking to Taskmaster

We still don't know much about Super Mario Maker 2's story mode, but we are very happy with what we have seen so far. The promotion will be a good addition to players who prefer plot-based games. We are personally surprised at the 100+ levels you will be able to play through when reconstructing Peach's Castle. Hopefully Nintendo will reveal more about it at E3 in June. We update this page when we learn more.
