Along with the launch of the Apple Watch Series 6, the Apple Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop bands debuted. AppleInsider have worn them and given an impression, as well as a look at each of the colors.
Andrew O’Hara for AppleInsider:
Both Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop have one piece of design. Instead of a two-piece design, like the classic Sports Band, these two are a long loop. As such, they are required to be available in a variety of sizes – nine to be exact.
Apple makes a free size guide available through the website that you can print at home. Just print, cut and wrap it around your wrist and it will tell you which size band to order.
In my case, I got right between a seven and an eight. I ordered an eight, and if I ordered again, I would probably choose the seven. The eight were fine, but limitless.
MacDailyNews Take: We agree: If your size exactly falls between two sizes of Apple Watch Solo Loop or Braided Solo Loop straps, choose the smaller size. The strap will stretch to fit, and the watch’s rear sensors must fit well to function properly. If you’re still worried, try going to an Apple Retail Store, if you can, to try them out before you buy.
