The August 30 activity challenge for Apple Watch focuses on national parks

Apple has set its sights on celebrating the ‘natural wonder of national parks’ by inaugurating an Apple Watch Activity Challenge for it.

The challenge is that Apple Watch users will need to complete a 1-mile run, walk, hike or wheelchair. These can be done via workouts on the official Apple Watch app, or any third-party app that registers workouts to Apple’s Health app.

Apple has been challenging its national parks for three years in a row. In 201

9, Apple Watch users could get an achievement for walking, walking, running or exercising in a wheelchair for 3 miles.

The rewards for completing the challenge include special stickers for use on FaceTime and messages, and virtual trophies displayed in the Achievements section of the Activity app. Apple Watch users will be notified when the new challenge starts in advance.

The latest Apple Watch Activity Challenge took place on August 8 and celebrated National Fitness Day in China.
