The entire Apple Watch Series 6 must be returned if Solo Loop or Braided Solo Loop Bands do not fit

Apple introduced the Apple Watch Series 6 during its ‘Time Flies’ event this month. In addition to the Series 6, Apple introduced two new band options for the device. A Solo Loop and a Braided Solo Loop band are both available and are unique bands without locks.

Since the Solo Loop and Braided Solo Loop straps cannot be adjusted, consumers must purchase a strap in one of the nine available sizes to fit the wrist. Apple has provided a printable PDF measuring tool with estimated band sizes.

Theoretically, this should help customers find the perfect size band for their new Apple Watch and wrist. However, it has been discovered that in case the band does not fit, the entire Apple Watch Series 6 must be returned as Apple considers it a set.

It was reported by MacRumors that all customers who find that their Solo bands are too big or too small must return the entire unit for exchange. On the surface, this may not seem like such a big deal. However, the limited offer of the Apple Watch Series 6 and band gives users some trouble, as they may not be able to buy a new one until the end of October or the beginning of November.

This has led some users to complain about Apple̵

7;s policy. Some have taken online forums to express their concerns, while others have spoken to Apple Support. GameClub Vice President of Business Development Eli Hodapp shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with Apple Support on Twitter. When you asked the representative if it was “insane” to have to return the entire unit, the support agent agreed with him.

Hodapp finally got the solution by visiting an Apple Store for exchange. However, given the world circumstances, this option may not be available to everyone. In addition, with limited stock, the available Apple Store does not even have a guaranteed replacement.

Apple has not yet responded to the case. Hopefully, the availability of Apple Watch Series 6 devices will increase faster than expected.
