Context: I have already had to appeal a review for an app that I briefly worked with a client on. Free iOS app, free web service / API, free of any kind, App Store review blocked due to required payments, I basically asked them wtf, they admitted that there was no need to pay and went on. So I guess there will be problems with payments.
The current case:
Paid web service as business owners / department heads / those who want to register for and pay for, on the website. Allows them to see a dashboard, check things about the team, manage statuses, messages, etc.
When registering for an app, enter a key that you receive from the owner of your organizational account, and which connects you to the dashboard on the website. However, no employees have access to the dashboard or online services from the iOS app.
It is a simple APN call made from the web service to the app, if they have set reminders (remind the employees / users of the app to do something in the app).
Tried to abstract it without losing the key points. Can we do this with the current App Store rules, or do we have to duplicate all the dashboard fxn in the iOS app, and then make payment in the app? How do we reconcile the fact that we want employees to use it and not have to pay for it? Has it been freemium, employee share is free, ownership is paid? If so, it will add lots of time for nothing …

TL; The DR app is intended to be a free tool used by employees. Web service is meant to be a separate thing, collect submitted data from app clients as well as other sources, and do management-y-things. The two are almost unrelated.
