In an interview with Joe Rogan recently, Jack Dorsey said that Twitter is considering an editing system where you will be able to see the original and edited version of a tweet. Dorsey has also talked about the idea of a "clarify" feature.

As mentioned by Recode Dorsey said that Twitter is "thinking of" a feature that allows users to return and add clarification or annotations to tweets. This feature makes sense in many ways.
Often, a tweet can go viral even if it is wrong or incorrect. This type of annotation feature will allow users to clarify what they meant while also preserving the original tweet. However, the original tweet could not be retweeted, with Twitter instead of retweeting the clarification.
How to tell the Dorsey feature:
"How do we quickly let people go back or to some tweet, whether it's years back or today, and show the original tweet – like a quote retweet, a retweet with comment – and Add some context and some color to what they might have tweeted or what they might have meant By doing so, imagine the original tweet would not have that kind of engagement around it, as if you couldn't retweet The original tweet, for example. You just wanted to show the clarification, you could retweet the clarification, so it always carries that context. It's an approach. Don't say we should start it, but that's the kind of question we should ask . "
Although Kara Swisher's recent interview with Dorsey is some indication, Twitter is thought of many things. It is somebody's guess about what can actually be sent as a functioning function.
Would you rather like Twitter to add full support for tweet editing or something like this clarification feature? Let yourself be told in the comments.
