Patient was waiting for unc0ver to add iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak support? The team pwn20wnd has been working steadily behind the scenes on it and they even have the right Cydia support for iOS 1
It is especially important since the Cydia support in iOS 12 will allow users to easily install tweaks on their jailbroken iPhone or iPad. Well minimal things work – still need to do a lot, but I have a shell, Cydia works and substrate works the most. Don't hold your breath, but it's going forward. pic.twitter.com/bBZZ2Seoy

A public or even beta release of unc0ver with Cydia support is still a little away . The pwn20wnd team has continued to clean up CoreTrust solutions and fix all the sandbox updates. It is only afterwards that they will consider releasing a pre-beta release of unc0ver 3.0 with Cydia support.
Now, a jailbreak their iPhone can run iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 using rootlessJB, the process of installing jailbreak tweaks on it is relatively complicated. While this also has to do with the fact that rootlessJB is an SSH-based developer jailbreak, the lack of Cydia support for iOS 12 is also a problem here.
Currently, unc0ver only supports iPhones and iPads powered by A9-A11 chips. However, the team is working to add support for A12 devices such as iPhone XS and iPhone XR.
A number of members from the jailbreaking community are working on a public jailbreak iOS 12. Given the evolution of recent developments, it is likely that we will see an iOS 12 – iOS 12.1.2 jailbreak being released to the public sooner than later.
