Pwn20wnd has been hard at work the last few days of implementing @ NedWilliamson's new iOS 12.1.3-12.2 centric Sockpuppet exploit in the unknown jailbreak. Perhaps not surprisingly, there have been many new updates to unc0ver jailbreak, with most of the updates involving the binding of loose ends with regard to the new utilization.
While Pwn20wnd updated unc0ver jailbreak this morning to version 3.3.0 beta 6, it seems that the hacker has updated unc0ver again, this time to version 3.3.0 beta 7. According to the announcement Tweet, this update resolves several errors reported by users:
Referring to the official change log published on Pwn20wnd's GitHub page, unc0ver v3.3.0 beta 7 brings the following changes:
07/13/2019 – v3.3.0 ~ b7 was released for public testing with the following changes:
– Fix the fake non-supported error on iOS 12.2 ~ b6
– Fix the restart button
– Loose offsets with update installations that were jailbroken before
– Update credits for @NedWilliamson, the Sockpuppet developer
The seventh beta deals mostly with small errors and official credits @NedWilliamson for his a work on the Sockpuppet utilization. From what we can collect, this is the most stable release of unc0ver v3.3.0 beta yet.
If you are already jailbroken with unc0ver v3.3.0 beta, you may want to download and distribute the latest version of jailbreak tools to ensure you take advantage of all the latest repairs and enhancements. Those who have not used unc0ver v3.3.0 beta yet are advised to continue to wait for public release, as grazing may be subject to unexpected errors and instabilities.
