How to update your WatchOS software directly on your Apple Watch
Before proceeding to the update, you need to take care of these three things.
- Make sure your Apple Watch has at least 50% battery or more during the update
- Do not remove or restart the charger during the update and installation
- Keep your Apple Watch connected to WiFi and make sure it does not get stuck between updates.
Once you are sure of the above, follow the steps below to update your watchOS 6 software directly on your Apple Watch.
Step 2. Select now Software update option from general settings, it will now check for updates. If the watchOS update is available, press Download and install option.
Step 3. After the update is downloaded to Apple Watch, press Install and then press Continue.
