When I lost iPhone in a dark room … !!!

Now, how many of us hate power failures and electrical failures? Well, everyone! But what's worse, when you lose your iPhone during such an occasion, and fail to get your hands on it. Trust me, it's actually very annoying, especially when you're all alone.

Well recently, something that happened to me and was the ultimate tech lover, I was a fish without water. I tried to search for the iPhone in a dark room and fought hard to wake up "Siri" but in vain. When the power resumed, I searched frantically for my iPhone and found that it was upside down and that is why "Hey Siri" didn't work. But in order to save people from this difficulty, I have come up with a solution to this problem. So let's jump right into it …

First thing first, let me tell you why this happens. When the iPhone is turned down, "Hey Siri" will stop working with screen alerts (the screen will not light up for incoming alerts). Well, Apple introduced this face down feature to avoid distractions and battery drainage. It's really very helpful, but in some cases it can be quite tortuous.

Find Lost iPhone in a Dark Room Even When Upside Down

To wake up Siri when the iPhone is upside down, we need to disable the face-down feature on the iPhone. Follow these simple steps to get the job done.

Step # 1. Start the Settings app on the iPhone.

Step # 2. Scroll down, press Privacy.

Touch Privacy Policy in iPhone Settings
Step # 3. Go to "Motion & Fitness" and turn off & # 39; Fitness Tracking . & # 39;

Turn off Fitness Tracking to disable the iPhone Face Down feature

Note: Disabling exercise tracking will not allow you to enjoy a few features such as body movement, step count , stair climb and other features of the Health App.

And that's it. It's as simple as that.

It's better to be safe than sorry, so make sure the "Hey Siri" setting is enabled in the Siri setting on the iPhone. To check that you must follow the steps listed below.

Step # 1. Start the Settings app on the iPhone.

Step # 2. Then press Siri and Search.

Touch Siri and Search iPhone Settings

Step # 3. Finally make sure Listen to Hey Siri & # 39 ; function is enabled, if not just click the switch to activate it.

Now what

Time to test this to test …

Turn off your lights, set your iPhone face down in the room and just say

"Hi Siri, turn on the flashlight ” width=”500″ height=”489″ srcset=”https://storage.googleapis.com/igeeksblog/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Tap-on-Privacy-in-iPhone-Settings.jpg 500w, https://storage.googleapis.com/igeeksblog/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Tap-on-Privacy-in-iPhone-Settings-300×293.jpg 300w, https://storage.googleapis.com/igeeksblog/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Tap-on-Privacy-in-iPhone-Settings-429×420.jpg 429w” sizes=”(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px”/>
and Voila!

That's it!
