So it's important to have an app on
Your Mac that can work with PDFs, and actually such an app included:

There are three popular apps for working with PDF: Preview's

Which PDF app is right for you?
You will not go wrong with Preview ,
which allows to rearrange pages in a PDF, copy pages from a PDF
into another, delete pages, and even import new pages from a scanner.
Preview allows you to navigate PDF files via the table of contents or thumbnails,
and can display pages in a grid. If you trade a PDF back and

PDFpen and PDFpenPro
can do everything Preview can, and a little more. When scanning a

searchable and editable text to the scanned image of the document.
In terms of text, both apps can add and change the text to a PDF,
which is useful when you want to make a quick correction or update an old one
document. They also allow you to move, resize and delete images in PDFs,
edit sensitive information, find and replace text, add file and audio
attachments and exports to Microsoft Word format. PDFpenPro goes smoothly
Furthermore, it makes it possible to turn a website into a PDF, export to
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint formats, create and edit a PDF table
content, link links from URLs in a document and more.
What else do you get with Acrobat Pro DC
for more than three times the price of PDFpenPro? (It is also included
with an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.) Since it comes from Adobe,
The company that created PDF, Acrobat will work with complex and
involved PDF files that can clog the other apps. Acrobat offers high-end
print production features, integration with Microsoft Office and a
pageview to fix suspicious text recognition error in one
OCRed scan. Most importantly, if you need to edit PDF files frequently,
Acrobat can reflow the text across a whole page, add new lines to existing ones

My recommendation? Start with
Preview and see if you need more features. If PDF or PDFpenPro
will solve your problems, they are solid practitioners who do not cost too
much. But if you find yourself spending your days working with PDF files,
especially in a collaborative environment or with a lot of text
editing, Acrobat Pro DC can be worth the money.
