Who is it for? MacBook is designed for users who prioritize mobility above all else, including features and performance.
What are the specifications? MacBook comes in only one size: a 12 "model available in rose gold, spaces gray, gold or silver.
There are two models of the MacBook. The $ 1,299 model has a 1.2GHz dual core Intel Core m3 (Kaby Lake) processor and 256GB of flash storage. The $ 1,599 model has a 1.3GHz dual core Intel Core i5 (Kaby Lake) processor and 512GB of flash storage. Both models include 8GB of memory and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 615 processor.

What are the specifications? MacBook Pro is available in screen sizes of 13 inches and 15 inches.
There are four 13-inch models:
- $ 1,299 model: 2.3GHz dual core Intel Core i5 (Kaby Lake) processor, 8GB memory, 128GB SSD, Intel Iris Graphics 640 integrated graphics, and none Touch Bar.
- $ 1,499 Model: 2.3GHz dual core Intel Core i5 (Kaby Lake) processor, 8GB memory, 246GB SSD, Intel Iris Graphics 640 integrated graphics and no Touch Bar.
- $ 1,799 model: 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i5) processor, 8GB memory, 256GB SSD, Intel Iris Graphics 655 integrated graphics and Touch Bar.
- $ 1,999 Model: 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 (Coffee Lake) processor, 8GB memory, 512GB SSD, Intel Iris Graphics 655 integrated graphics and touch bar.
Apple has two 15-inch MacBook Pros:
- $ 2,399 model: 2.2GHz six-core Intel Core i7 (Coffee Lake) processor, 16GB memory, 256GB SSD, Intel UHD Graphics 630 integrated graphics, 4 GB Radeon Pro 555X Discreet Graphics and Touch Bar.
- $ 2,799 Model: 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 six-core processor, 16GB memory, 512GB SSD, Intel UHD Graphics 630 integrated graphics, 4GB Radeon Pro 560X discreet graphics and Touch Bar.
The 13-inch Retina screen has a resolution of 2560×1600, and OS X offers a scaled resolution up to 1680×1050. The 15-inch Retina screen has a resolution of 2880×1800, and OS X's highest scaled resolution of the laptops is 1920×1200. These high resolution resolutions can customize the work area of a Mac laptop with a larger screen size on a smaller Retina MacBook Pro if you can tolerate the smaller icons, text and other graphics on the screen. If you are using a third-party application such as QuickRes, you can specify the Retina screen to use resolutions that are higher than the scaled settings OS X offers, including the original resolution.
MacBook Pro does not have SuperDrive, so if you need one, you need to purchase an external USB optical drive.
What is the touch line mentioned in the specifications above? The touch line is a new input device. It sits on top of the keyboard, and it's basically a narrow touchscreen. How do I connect to things? You do not have to worry about wireless connectivity: The MacBook Pro has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
It's the wired connection you need to be worried about. MacBook Pro has only Thunderbolt 3 ports that are compatible with USB-C. The $ 1,299 and $ 1,499 13-inch MacBook Pro models have two ports, while all other MacBook models have four.
If you have a Thunderbolt 3 device, you can connect it directly to your laptop. The same goes for all USB C devices.
